Fried Mozzarella

Ingredients
1 small ball fresh buffalo mozzarella, sliced into ½ strips
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, whisked
1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
½ cup finely grated parmesan
Grapeseed oil, fry frying
Kosher salt, to taste
Your favorite dipping sauce (we used tomato sauce and ranch)
 

Directions:
Whisk together the breadcrumbs and parmesan. Place into a small bowl. Place the flour in another bowl and the whisked egg whites in a third bowl. Coat the mozzarella pieces well in flour. Shake off excess and submerge in the egg-wash. Dredge into parmesan breadcrumbs, pressing firmly to coat the cheese well.

Transfer to a plate as you prepare the other pieces of mozzarella. In a large sauté pan, heat oil to 350 degrees (about medium high), fry the mozzarella until golden brown on all sides.. Remove and place on paper towels. Season with salt while warm. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
