From the time we arrived into the parking lot with almost every space taken, we gave our name to the host where she stated it would be an approximate wait of 20 minutes. They have a separate waiting area which they call Three Doors Down which serves drinks while you wait. Ten minutes later they came and got us and walked through a very busy place to our table of four. Of course, my wife and I had to take our best friends out, being that it was my birthday. We ordered a few appetizers and drinks followed by our entrée and desert. Our server Barbara is like many that have been working there for years and I believe that is a sign of a successful establishment. Drinks, appetizers, entrées including dessert and gratuity totaled $130.00. We have been eating there for many years and are never disappointed. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a local seafood restaurant that serves fresh food with layers of flavors and is a popular hangout.

For another busy Tuesday night in the middle of the “season” we were lucky to arrive and find an open parking spot in the lot and even luckier to grab the last table before the normal “seasonal” line-up commenced. Cheerfully greeted, we were seated immediately in a great booth on the kitchen side of the restaurant. The wait for someone to take a drink order was in line with expectations, however the time it took to have that glass in my hand was a bit longer than I would consider normal. I find this restaurant a terrific atmosphere to share a meal with family and/or friends; no rush and a great casual ambiance where lingering over a glass or two of wine and some wonderfully fresh seafood makes for a very nice evening. Food came out in a perfect amount of time and as always the quality was very high and the portions more than ample. The price charged is extremely fair for the obvious quality of the ingredients they use. Love this place and will hopefully return many more times in the coming years. Keep up the great work!

Juno is not a long distance from where I live, and I see myself returning to Captain Charlie’s often in the future, now that I know how to find it. One page of the menu was all handwritten, which makes me want to return just to see if items change with the seasons. This is the type of food I expect when I go out for seafood, nothing overly complicated, but prepared to showcase the flavors and local varieties available. The warm atmosphere and gracious staff made me feel like I was wanted there, both now and in the future. The quality and price are both great!
