This restaurant is located in a shopping plaza, with plenty of parking. I visited Ke-uH on a Sunday evening and there was no wait time – I was immediately greeted and seated. I informed the waiter that it was our first time at Ke-uH and asked for recommendations. The waiter told us that everything was great, that anything we ordered would be good. We decided to try the Wagyu sliders and the Bonsai truffle roll. In the meantime, the waiter brought us brussels sprouts – free of charge, just because he really wanted us to try it. I’m glad he did, because they were great. They sautéed the brussels sprouts with oranges and that gave it a very nice citrusy flavor. I had a glass of Hana Lychee Sake as I awaited our dishes - It was so smooth to drink. Just like most Japanese restaurants, the portions are shareable. The sushi was amazing. Not only was it pretty, but it was full of flavor. We ended our meal with the banana Nutella roll— you can never go wrong with Nutella! Obviously, not a traditional Japanese dessert, but that shows a willingness from this restaurant to provide what the community enjoys. Our waiter was very attentive. It didn’t take us long to receive the bill. After paying, he thanked us for visiting and asked that we return. If this restaurant wasn’t so far from me, I would definitely return.

Ke-uH is in a neighborhood strip mall in Weston with ample parking. It’s right off of I-75 and is a hidden little gem in the West Broward suburbs. When I arrived, we were immediately seated. The ambiance is warm and inviting. It’s not a huge restaurant, which I think is nice. We were greeted immediately upon being seated, inquiring if we wanted something to drink and if we had been to Ke-uH before. The placemat next to me looked to have something on it and the server immediately removed it and replaced it. She was very friendly the entire night always asking if everything was good and if we needed anything. Since it’s more tapas style or shareable plates, we (three of us) got several items to share. Having been there before, I am a huge fan of their truffle edamame and crispy brussels sprouts which are always delicious. You can smell the truffle as soon as the edamame arrives. It’s not overly plagued by truffle but enough to taste the flavor. It has the perfect amount of salt too. The crispy brussels are lightly fried or crisped and have a hint of orange. We also ordered the Hamachi jalapeno, shishito peppers, Ke-uH Salad, crispy rice tuna, and Kanisu roll. Everything came out in stages and there was enough for everyone to have a little bit of everything we ordered. We also got a bottle of white wine which was light and refreshing and enjoyed by all. One of my friends mentioned to our server she wanted to place an order to go toward the end and of course. Because we were talking, she forgot, but our server remembered and asked what her to-go order was so she could put it in. We left feeling full and happy but not stuffed. It was another great meal at one of our favorite local go-to restaurants!

We pulled into the strip mall and Ke-uH looked to have an inviting atmosphere with a millennial vibe yet welcoming. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, and our waiter guided us through the menu. He was attentive, but didn’t hover and the portion size was adequate. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for sushi with some additional menu items and a trendy atmosphere.
