I immediately noticed a man cleaning off one of the outside tables. The gentleman at the register was very nice, and explained that I could mix and match the tacos; they came 5 in an order. The first thing I tasted was the salsa, it was an instant delight! I would say that I wanted several more containers of it! I also loved the Birria Quest taco. I loved the crunchy shell, lightly fried, and perfectly crisp taco. Everything at this restaurant was extremely flavorful!

I visited los Bocados at late afternoon with my family. Arrived with my car to a strip mall with very easy access. Good parking with lots of space in front of the restaurant. They have 2 tables for the covered outdoor seating. When I entered the restaurant, I found out its a fast casual concept where you go to the counter to order the food and they call you when it’s ready. Menu was pretty simple and clear to read. I ordered a bunch of things and asked the cashier for recommendations so I went with the BBQ Pork Tostadas and Guac and Chips as an appetizer, Birria Tacos, Carne Asada Tacos and Chicken Quesadillas. They don’t have a dessert menu. Food was ready super fast, we didn’t wait more than 10 minutes. Food was served in disposable containers. Not a big fan but totally understand the practicality of it. Everything tasted good. My favorite dish was the birria tacos. Would recommend that you go!

We usually will order online for takeout or eat there on a weekend for lunch. We discovered them years before in the gas station next door to this strip mall. It just became more popular every year until they had to find their own place last year. Everything you order is made fresh. Usually, we bring the whole family. This time, it was just my wife and I for a quick dinner.. The elote appetizer is a great way to start. It’s Mexican street corn made with fresh lime juice, cotija cheese, and chipotle seasoning. My wife ordered her favorite: Hongolitos. They are two small quesadillas with marinated mushrooms, Monterey Jack cheese, smoky aioli, pickled red onions. I tried their new Mahi tacos. They were delicious, made with a spicy slaw, cheese, the aioli, gualijillo glaze and jalapeño. So good. My son usually get the spicy citrus pork burrito and my daughter gets the carne asada burrito. They will mix and match proteins also in different types of burritos and tacos. You can also order salads or bowls. The one drawback is limited seating. They have 4-5 small tables inside and single seats along a wall. Outside they have a few tables lined up on the sidewalk. During lunch on weekends, we will pickup and drive to terramar park to eat there on their picnic tables.
