From the moment I showed up in Boca Raton at Nori, it was beautiful sunny day, I had 5:00 p.m. reservations and waited outside until they opened. I had arrived 15 minutes early. I brought a book since I new I was dining alone. It was a little after 5:00p.m. and the closed sign was still showing so I peaked in the window and saw a waitress, I pulled the door and it opened. I did let her know about the sign. She politely asked me to sit wherever I wanted and I chose a table in the back that sat two. A waitress came over and gave me the menu and I started to review and it was the lunch menu, she went back and got me the dinner menu, it was a lot on the menu to read and understand the different dishes. I started out ordering the French Prosecco and she came back with a split of Moscato and I said no that I would like to look at the wine list than ordered the Pinot Grigio, which was okay. I than ordered the Edamame and the conch spring rolls to start. They came out and were very good. I was reviewing the menu again and decided on the Thai Basil NY Strip Steak which took a little bit of time to come out. I had ordered the steak medium and it was overcooked, but still was delicious. All the half portions I brought home for my husband to finish. I had also ordered a glass of Red Cab with the Thai Basil NY Strip Steak, when she came out she brought me a white wine and I said no I ordered a Red Cab to go with dinner and she quickly returned with the Red Cab. I wrapped it up with ordering the brownie desert which was phenomenal, if I order desert normally my husband and I share, this was a large bowl with 4 fried brownies and vanilla ice cream with whip cream Amazing! I ordered coffee with the Brownies however they said they do not offer coffee. I than did get my check and it was a lovely evening, parking was very easy, was able to walk out with all my goodies to bring home to my husband and traffic was not bad at all. I was there for almost two hours. I would recommend this restaurant to people who love Thai and sushi, it is just not a place I would go out of my way to go to again. The experience was lovely and I am so happy I was able to try something new and different.

This is a small, intimate, pleasantly decorated restaurant in downtown Boca Raton offering a variety of menu options, especially desirable offering menu choices for one guest show doesn’t eat fish or seafood. The waiter was very attentive, all other staff willing to assist, sushi was beautifully prepared/presentation + sushi was fresh with unique delicious taste, Thai dishes were above average, the dessert will be on my list of best desserts ever! I would definitely recommend and return there to try other selections on the menu and order again their ice granita options.

A small tucked away gem between other store fronts. You can easily drive right by, but you don’t want to. Stop in and enjoy. Tough parking on the street, adequate parking in the rear. The front of the restaurant has a few outside tables but the inside is where you want to enjoy your dining experience. When you walk in you are joyfully greeted. A long bar is on the left side and booths and then tables are on the right. Reservations are taken and recommended. At times they are very crowded but well worth the wait. The tables are of adequate size for the number of people in your party. You are quickly seated and water is brought immediately. Nice cloth napkins and sparkling silverware are on the table. You can ask for chopstick and they actually open the package for you instead of handing you the paper package with the chopsticks inside them. Within a few minutes you waiter is there to take your order. The Menu runs the gamut of an array of appetizers, salads, sushi, sashimi, soups, ramen, Thai and teriyaki dishes. The staff are very knowledgeable of what is in each dish. As a vegetarian this is very important. I need to know that when I ask if the soup is a vegetable broth based that the answer is not yes because it has vegetables “in” it but the actual broth is vegetable based not chicken, beef or fish. I made a number of changes to my Spicy Miso Ramen bowl such as removing all meet from it and changing the broth to a vegetable based broth and also ramping up the spice level. 10 minutes later I realized I forgot to order the Garlic Rice. I asked for it and it showed up the same time as the rest of the dinner and not later because it was ordered later. The Tamago sushi was the best I have ever had and at a great price, possibly the lowest I have seen. Smooth, creamy and sweet. The Garlic Fried rice was not overbearing and a nice side dish that we all enjoyed. The Sashimi dinner was a grand spectacle. It was displayed beautifully and was fresh with large pieces of various types of fish. The garden salad was crisp and fresh with a nicely prepared ginger dressing. We were visited once or twice to make sure all was okay which was just the right amount of visits.. We lingered for quite a while after we were done. We were never made to feel we had to leave. When I asked for the check it appeared in no time flat. Upon our departure we were offered thanks yous and see you again a number of times on the way out. This was my pick and I love this restaurant.
