The parking was very convenient and directly in front of restaurant. At the onset the atmosphere seemed a little cold, but the waitress immediately made us feel at home and was super friendly, helpful and funny. The ambience was a little basic, but they had some decorations around the room to make it warm. They also had a focus wall that was a nice touch. There were 4 of us which gave us the opportunity to try a number of items. We started off with the empanadas which were very fresh. We had Cazuela de Mariscos (Seafood soup) with a side of rice, salad and plantains, Sancocho de Cola (Oxtail Soup) same sides, Bandeja Palsa Especial (Beef, steak, egg, pork rinds, arepa, white rice, beans and sweet plantains, Camarones al Ajllo (Shrimps with Garlic sauce and green plantains). We also tried papaya and kiwi drinks.
The quality and portions of the food were very good, and the prices were appropriate . I would also like to mention that we looked at the menu before we went to the restaurant and we all agreed that the website was enough to make you want to visit and tr everything. It also helped to know what we wanted to eat because of the wonderful pictures.

When I arrived there was no wait, and I was seated right away around 6:30pm.. The hostess was super nice and told me to sit anywhere I wanted. I only waited for a few minutes for the waitress to attend me and my friend. The food came out about 15 minutes and everything was so delicious and had a nice presentation. The restaurant was half full, but everyone is pretty spread out so It was a safe environment and all the tables and utensils we’re properly sanitized. Overall a great experience and I was very happy to discover this amazing restaurant..

Patacon Pisa’o is one of those places that makes you feel welcomed and leave happy due to the delicious food you will eat when you visit. Located in a typical SoFlo shopping center, parking is always available. Once inside, the restaurant is well lit and tables perfectly spaced following COVID guidelines. It is a small restaurant, so there might be a wait if you go during lunch hours. The Colombian feel is all around. The daily specials are worth trying and experiencing. Our appetizer order of chicharrones and empanadas came in quick as well as our drinks. The drinks are so refreshing and will go fast!!! My wife and I order the same entrée, our steak was cooked to our likening and well-seasoned. The side salad was dressed in a very light mustard type vinaigrette. Good tostones are rare to find – at Patacon they are perfection!!! Non greasy, crunchy outside and soft on the inside. Delicious meal… no dessert this time, however, make sure you try their dulce de leche specialties.
