This restaurant serves authentic French food with flair of tastes and quality. Their menu is not extensive, but they offer meat, fish and vegetables that should appeal to those with the most discriminating tastes. They also have numerous “small plates” if you just want to experience great tastes, the ambiance, have a few drinks and relax. The service is impeccable and they do not leave you wanting for anything. I have recommended this restaurant to quite a few people, including the two who dined with me tonight and they were discussing future dining plans here to bring their friends. This wonderful restaurant is at the end of Clematis St. across from the park. There are a few metered parking places in front, and a few along Clematis, but there is plenty of parking if you don’t mind walking a little, or valet very close to the restaurant at various points along the street. When you first walk in you go into a small waiting area with a few comfortable chairs where you are very warmly greeted. This area melds into the bar area with a very nicely dressed bartender and a small dining area. To your right is the main dining area with white tablecloths and napkins with shiny silverware and glasses. There are nicely arranged pictures and mirrors along the walls and the tables are placed far enough from each other not to feel intrusive, but close enough to know that you are eating near others who are enjoying their evening. One wall has sliding glass doors opening to a small veranda with 5 or 6 tables. In the colder winter evenings, they do have torch heaters outside. The servers and bus persons are all neatly dressed in white shirts and black slacks. The first bring a carafe of cold water and take your drink orders. Fresh bread in baskets and butter arrive immediately. The servers are extremely accommodating, making sure your drinks glasses are always full, replacing your silverware without asking and they let you take your time to order, eat, relax, etc. The food has high quality ingredients, is excellently prepared and is delectably and accurately described on the menu….enough to make your mouth water. The décor is unpretentious and is reminiscent of a nice bistro you would find in France.

We arrived to a warm and friendly welcome and shown to our table on the terrace. Looking around, we just immediately felt we were transported back to France. Everything from the décor, bar area and staff uniforms gave us that unique French feeling. The food was spot on and everyone, my wife and our two girls all enjoyed from the French bread to main and desserts. We felt so comfortable and unrushed as the time went by. I would for sure go back on our next visit to West Palm Beach. This is a real gem. For any occasion, this bistro offers you France and it’s cuisine here in South Florida and great value + service.

Our lunch on the porch at Pistache French Bistro was serene and charming. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious choices and the setting outside feels very Parisian and relaxed. Service is attentive and the price suits the kind of service and food that is offered. Parking is available in municipal lots nearby. My husband and I shared a Bistro Plate as an appetizer. We chose 2 from the cheese list and 1 from the charcuterie. We chose prosciutto, brie and manchego. It came on a slate with grapes, candied walnuts, little pickles and a compote. It was a charming presentation and delicious I had the Crepes Suzette which had a caramelized bauchant sauce, and oranges along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It seemed only right to have Crepes Suzette at a French restaurant and it was marvelous. My husband had the profiteroles (vanilla ice cream filled cream puffs, chocolate sauce & candied almonds). I ate his left over chocolate sauce and it was sinful! It made for a relaxing, peaceful and charming afternoon.
