As we entered the restaurant, we were greeted as if we were family, since we have been there several times. This is a family owned operation; they are very gracious and humble people who will prepare meals to your satisfaction. They will add the amount of heat or spiciness based on what you can handle from 1 to 5 stars with 5 being the hottest.. The beer and wine selection has a wide price point. From Hahn to Silver Oak with Malbecs, Shiraz, Riesling, Organic and Hot Sakis. The Singha beer is a great compliment to Tai food. Our appetizers were brought out very quickly but they did not rush us. The waiter came to see if we needed anything (2-3 times) but was not pushy. They did take my salad from me before I finished. The entrée was decorated with a carved butterfly made from a carrot with a fresh orchid flower on the plate. I ask for my entrée as three stars and it was perfect for my taste. The duck was crispy on the outside and moist inside. My husband enjoyed the 5 star, very hot meal. The waiter allowed us a 10% discount with cash and the entire meal with 3 drinks was $60.00. This is a very peaceful relaxing place to dine, and the food is consistently good.

When trying to find the restaurant in its giant shopping center, we got a little confused. However, it didn't take long for us to turn a corner and find it. We walked in and were seated right away in their middle section that sits higher than the rest of the restaurant. This combined with their floor to ceiling windows and high ceilings, gave the restaurant a very open and airy feeling. We enjoyed watching the outside transition from day to night during our meal. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. We started with the appetizer sampler and lettuce wraps. The lettuce wraps were my favorite. They were very flavorful and came with tons of lettuce squares and a delicious hoisin sauce. The best part of the sampler was the chicken skewers that had a curry flavor to them. They were cooked perfectly and flavored boldly. I also had a miso soup that was quite delicious and a little bit different than any other miso soup that I've tried. With my entree came a delicious salad that I couldn't get enough of. My pad thai was one of the best pad thai’s that I have ever had (and I eat a lot of pad thai!). All of the food was so fresh and filled with flavor. Their portions are just right and you can't help but feel the love from the kitchen in every bite. The service was top-notch as well. After scarfing down dessert and getting our bill, we wereimpressed at what a good value it was for the amount of delectable food that we got. As we left, we vowed to come back again!

Rice is a beautifully decorated and immaculate Thai & Asian fusion restaurant. The food is not only delicious it’s beautiful. I’ll be back to see that disco ball above the bar lit up.

When we arrived from the outside first impression, my hopes weren’t very high. We were very close to sitting outside and hind sight I’m glad we didn’t. I think a lot of the charm of the place would have been lost on us.

When we opened the door to inquire on the outdoor seating, the inside beckoned us in. We sat in the center booth area which is elevated over the rest of the place which provided us a bird’s eye view of the rest of the place. The décor is minimalist and elegant, the entire restaurant and bar are immaculately set with linens and fresh flowers.

The food quality, service, and portion size were great, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The cucumber soup is probably the best I have ever had, and I loved the butterfly shaped carrots and all the orchids. Everything about this place is nice, I’ll definitely be back.
