Table 26 is comfortable Palm Beach dining without the attitude. Food was simply cooked with superb accompanying flavors; all three fishes I ordered were purely cooked over specialty sides. The entire staff was very friendly. I ate outside which was nautical and nice. The atmosphere is upscale, friendly, and comfortable. The tables get visited by the head server, and the manager or owner to make sure everything is okay. I was not rushed and was made to feel comfortable. The valet was so convenient without need for tickets and there were private powder rooms. The service was constantly attentive.

I am so happy to have had the opportunity to visit this restaurant and will surely return. I have already recommended it to multiple friends. Easy to get to, easy parking, welcoming staff at the front, and it didn’t stop. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with large portraits. Everyone worked as a team and the portions were so large, we could have shared. The taste of the food was decadent and melted in my mouth. The décor took my breath away and the atmosphere was light and airy. No pressure, no rush, knowledgeable staff and beautiful décor.

We were slightly delayed by traffic, but called to say that we would be 15 minutes late. No problem. We were seated by our lovely Maitre d’ when we arrived. The main dining room was a quite busy and bustling (which surprised us on a Tuesday evening. They were jamming! It was louder than we wanted, so we requested to sit outside on their patio, which was a great choice. We were greeted by Ryan who offered us some water, etc. after introductions and welcomes.
My wife ordered one of their signature cocktails which had Red River grapefruit and agave with Ketel One vodka. It was delicious! They also tempted us with some “light as air” cheese puffs while we decided on our meals. We opted for the Blackened Shrimp and Grits which had the smoothest corny grits ever and a tasty tomato confit. It was also delicious and we were off to a great start.
It should be mentioned that Ryan was so warm and genuine and really added to the overall enjoyment of our evening. He was great! He tempted us again with the daily Fish Specials (1 Sautéed and 1 Grilled). However, we finally decided on the Fish and Chips and the Double Cut Pork Chop.
We were rewarded for our great choices with a meal that was truly memorable. I love pork chops and have a difficult time resisting them when they are on a menu, but they are frequently disappointing. This chop was a masterpiece and truly the best that I have ever had. It was cooked Sous Vide and then grilled briefly afterward to mark it! Genius! I opted for the herb mashed potatoes instead of the latkes and that was another great choice as they were also delicious light and fluffy.
The Fish and Chips was presented in a most creative way with several sides to compliment the dipping; a giardinera, ketchup, a jalapeno tartar sauce and balsamic vinegar. They used grouper for the fish which was perfectly fried and light and flaky inside. The chips were made from fingerling potatoes and were also just right! We had mentioned that we had driven an hour to get there and that it was our anniversary. We celebrated with some delectable Bread Pudding, a glass of Graham’s 6 Grapes reserve and a glass of St Supery Sauvignon Blanc. What a great way to finish a really excellent meal.
I spoke with the GM on the way out and they mentioned that they are starting to serve brunch on November 15th. We look forward to another reason to return to West Palm Beach for a visit to Table 26. It was well worth the drive for an evening like this and an anniversary we won’t forget.
