Tamara's Bistro has country cuisine, the décor is refreshing with a colorful mosaic ceiling depicting an Art Deco scene, views of the infinity pool and al fresco dining patio make for a relaxing atmosphere. For lunch enjoy the catch of the day prepared one of three ways with unlimited sangria, bellinis, mimosa, or kir royale. The benedict bar features dinner and jazz Thursday through Saturday and the service is impeccable.

An hour drive from Plantation was uneventful (Thank you for Express Lanes) We arrived and found Valet was our only choice. The hotel was clean and neat. The dining area was a choice of inside or outside overlooking the pool area. We were greeted and sat by I assume the restaurant manager who was very personable. We opted for outside seating only to find people smoking cigars at another table and a group of people smoking by the pool which made it uncomfortable. We requested to be move inside only to find the temperature inside was too cold so again we moved to a table outside that minimized our exposure to the smoke. The manager was very understanding moving us from one table to the next. The view was perfect overlooking the pool and the tables were set with crisp white table cloths and mini bottles of Ketchup and mustard. The service was prompt offering us water or "something from the bar". My wife ordered coke and myself ice water, both were served in a timely fashion. The lunch menu is eclectic offering various satays to Pasta, Pizza and American fare as well as various classic salads.
